Das Netz redet über Ronald Malfi (Website). Ich las irgendwo, er werde als der “moderne Algernon Blackwood” bezeichnet (ich liebe Blackwood) und als “old school horror writer”. Gefällt mir. Für die Booktuberin Anda Kent ist er aktuell der Lieblingsautor. Bald wird sie sein neuestes Werk, Small Town Horror, in einem Video vorstellen. Zwischenzeitlich hat sie alle bisher gelesenen Malfi-Romane “geranked” – mit diesem hier an der Spitze.
Ich habe mir Come with me im letzten Jahr gekauft, aber letztlich hier (noch) nicht rezensiert, weil das Buch vor allem Krimi ist und ich üblicherweise keine Krimis lese, weil mich das Genre so gar nicht reizt.
